New year new run around.

Rather than going out New Years Eve i decided to take a look at this 1.2 mk2 that was on ebay just down the road from me.

Went back New Years Day to pick it up. :D

It feels great to be back behind the wheel of a Nova.
This will be used as my run around while i finish the GTE and will save me a wedge on fuel and insurance.

Immediate plans are replacing the drivers side indicator as its smashed.
Finish painting my tigra 5 spokes black and get some rubber.
Fit the peco back box from the GTE.
Source some cheap lowered shocks and springs








Who knows what the future holds for this when the GTE is done. The shell is in pretty good shape and there is NO sunroof there's always the possibility of a valver finding its way in there for 2008.

Nice find. Dont put a mk1 tail pipe on it though. It'll be hiding under the rear bumper where you will barely see it.

Clean her up & the first thing to ditch ought to be the std seats.. SURELY?

I like the feeling of my ass sliding off the seat every time I turn the steering wheel a tiny amount. Silly me threw some SR seats out a while ago as I got messed around by someone wanting to buy them.

The black bag thingy i think is the immobiliser... or might be an alarm.. haven't really bothered to look .

I think it might actually be a GSI back box that was badly fitted to my GTE... Will have to offer it up.
