    Default Nova winter resto

The only thing on the Nova that lets it down is the engine bay, so over these winter months while its off the road I'm going to give it a shot of making it clean & shiny.
Along with the bay I will be doing underneath and doing the inner arches white rather than the current black.

This lot needs a good clean and a few bits of paint.

I'm gonna do small bits at a time no rush but want to keep a running thread as it progresses.
Any suggestions as to how I can make the engine bay smooth rather than textured prior to spraying? Obviously I can rub it down but is there a alternative?

looks nice mate, i'd use fiberglass and small amounts of filler (large amounts of filler could crack so only use a little bit)

What about filler primer? Someone has suggested that and I think I might go down that road.
