little update, new colum put in, finally located a ignition shroud and did all the locks, even the petrol cap and a sr badge that i like
anyway heres some pics
unfortunatley this week the car had to go from the garage, so it went to my grandmas!! unfortunatley its on the path outside but eventually itll go into the garage, the garage holds a 1933 forb model b, one of 5 left and 3 are in a museum. might post a pic up soon of it, its a real beauty, anyway its on there for ages now as granny doesnt need the space
also as i went to the scrap yard to get my steering shroud, guess what was there, my blue mk1, so i snapped afew pics for you all, it had chain marks through the roof a huge dent in the roof and no seats and dash
Nice SR you have there

just get it to look loiek a gsi at the mo, not much
allways liked that kawasakki green nova tho, looks top notch
anyway i saw a post on for sale yesterday about a sr rear spoiler, so i bought it, i knew the gut rayond (cheers again matey) as i bought a grill for my mk1 off him, so i was going to ask him to post it but it was too big, so very kindly he set off at 7pm the same night that i bought it and traveled a total of 80 miles just to deliver it to me, what a mate he is, so all in all about 2hrs after the for sale post was up, the spoiler was in my shead and it was down as sold, not bad eh? only ?30 and its a rubber one aswell, so its very light
heres some pics of it, might go and get another in a hour or two
Good stuff Dave... get it fitted but make sure you take your time and do it right.
the rubber ones are heavy IMO! And make sure you screw it on, none of this carpet tape malarky
