    Default new engine

ive just purchased a c14se cylinder head (ported and polished) with re-cut valve seats, and a kent 320 duration cam and pully. the fella i bought it off said it would be good to rebuild the bottom end of my 1400.

i was thinking would it be possable to fit it to a 1.6 bottom end as it would be stronger?
also would i have more power?
and what inlet would i use for a single twin choke weber?
    thanks jim

You can't use a single choke carb on a SE head as there aint a single carb inlet that matches the head.

Iirc 14se head pushes compression up too high on a 1.6 block, so it would either be best fit it to a 1400, or get a 1600 block and head.

Is the cam a hyd setup? Or solid lifter? Quite a wild cam there.

Cylinder hone, new piston rings, main/big end bearings, ARP rod bolts, new oil pump...

Depends on the condition of the engine to begin with, and how much you want to spend.
