    Default XE Suspension

Tried the search but it doesn't like my search terms

What should I be looking for in terms of suspension for the saloon, bearing in mind it will (eventually) have an XE in there? Its only going to be a quick road car, so don't need harsh track stuff, and I don't really fancy the effort of putting full coilovers on. Just looking for something thats not going to flop it into a ditch on the first corner

ive got bilstein shocks and courtney springs on my hatch but she sits a bit high so im trying to find lower springs that'd handle the weight.

Get coilovers on the front and springs and dampers on the rear - easy.

    dont get coilovers,

Bilstein Cup struts with some nice 300lb springs on the front and normal lowering springs on the rear. Nice and heavy duty,

although I am sure I will be told that they aint as good as coilovers as they arent fully adjustable and dont cost as much, ah well

    Any suppliers for the springs?

I'm assuming saloon suspension is the same as hatch items...

    yes it is mate.
coilsprings.co.uk for the springs or courtney. I would maybe be tempted to go up a bit on the rear spring weights if you are going custom due to it having more weight on the rear than the hatch.

Mine is on AVO's, if yours are cups then the strut piston size is larger whereas normal Bilsteins retain the stock piston size
