    Default Nova-X gotta go, over ?13,400 spent

    Due to work commitments and a new company car I have reluctantly decided to sell my Nova. Have bought it as a plain ?G? reg GTE I have spent over ?13,400. ?5000 of this was on the engine.

    Genesis Hand-made british amp, originally ?1000
    Subs under seats, can you spot the TVR indicator stalks?
    Konig 5000s, imported direct from Germany


    Engine: X16XE 4 cylinder 16 valve.
    Management: MBE 976, custom-made Nova loom.
    Block: 0.5mm re-bored & decked, new "AE" pistons to suit. Crank re-ground to -0.25mm, Flywheel lightened to 8Kg. All internal moving parts blueprinted and balanced. SBD oilpump gear and pressure regulator, SBD steel cambelt rollers. Modified alternator bracket and Nova GSi bottom pulley. Bailey header tank.
    Head: Ported and optimised with bronze valve guides and "1 piece" REC valves. 1.7mm Steel head gasket. Webcon 2.5bar fuel pressure regulator and cream injectors.
    Inlet: SBD manifold (matched to head) with Jenvey tapered 48/42.7mm SF throttle bodies, 90mm trumpets. Full 1 piece air filter
    Exhaust: BTB downpipe with full Powerflow stainless steel system after that.
    Transmission: Standard F15CR (close-ratio) 5-speed.
    Suspension: Eibach springs & Bilstein dampers -30mm all round. Deflex Poly bushes and E-tech strut brace.
    Brakes: Vectra V6 288mm vented & X-drilled discs and calipers. Drums at the rear. Goodridge braided hoses all round.
    Wheels & tyres: Irmscher Softstar 16s with 195/45 Perelli P-zero Nero rubber.
    Bodywork: Quad Conversions Viper kit, Isuzu bonnet scoop. Locks and rear wiper removed. M3 mirrors, Smoked rear clusters.
    Interior: Mk2 dash conversion with Digi-dash, Konig 5000 recliner race seats (like the R32 but the next ones up), matching rear & door cards, professional retrimmed door pillars, Momo Raptor gear knob & gaiter, Momo Millenium steering wheel, Irmscher foot pedals, TVR indicator stalks.
    Ice:
    Head Unit: Blaupunkt LosAngeles CD/MP3 head unit
    Amplifier: Genesis P300x originally ?1000
    Front Speakers: Pioneer TS-E135C 13cm with separate Titanium tweeters
    Rear Speakers: Pioneer TS-E6995 6x9 tri-axial
    Subs: 2 Blaupunkt VMW165s
    Security: Delocked, gearshift lock, alarm, Cat2 imobiliser and Snap-lock removable steering wheel.
    Engine and gearbox
    Yes that is REAL carbon, hand-made in Holland
    Fully fitted
    OK, now you've seen a few pictures and you know it looks good, I'm looking for ?3,500 for this car complete. I have an excel sheet and the receipts to show the genuine buyers. Please, genuine buyers only :beer:

    Bloody hell, one car i never thought would get sold- ever.

    I cant believe your selling it Dave, and for ?3.5k!!! Someones going to get a bargain.

    Well, thanks guys. I know it's a shock but never drive it these days..... If it doesn't sell I'll break it and sell the parts. ?13,400 was easy, engine was over ?5000 on its own. I'm selling it 'cos it needs to be driven and enjoyed...

    Knowing Dave a little and knowing the car i can imagine the build bill being much higher than that, Everything you can imagine on this car has been changed/modified with no expense spared.

    I know at least 20 people that have spent wel in excess of ?20k on Novas.

    Pity Dave, must admit.

    If you do decide to break, I have a list!

    quite easy to spend 10k plus on a a decent engine, shell interior etc...

    I have spent a lot more tahn that and I dont even have an interior!
