    Default funny nosie

    right when i got round islands close to right lock at a decent speed i can hear a nock sound like but it dosent do it it on the other side any ideas what it could be cheers

    souns like a cv joint/boot to me. Mine does it badly on both left and right lock. Mine has done it for 2 years.

    C.V joints are about ?30 and pretty easy to replace.

    yeh more than likely a cv joint or you could have a racoon under there!

    get them fixed laddy as it not goin to be very pretty if they go while doin 70 on the motorway

    and they should be a MOT failure

    And when they go, they go with a massive bang,cling clang,wallop, ball bearings everywhere.

    Speaking from experience,Lol.

    Greg-That could be wheel bearings, chances of both outer cv's going at the same time is slim.

    ive seen one jam up and comletly ripped the front wheel off the car, was an ax gt though. less on the road the better!!!

    yes will do, its only a autotest car so not too bothered just now. I have some spare so i will replace them at the start of next year.
