    Default C16XE issues

    Rite,

For the last couple of months i have been working away on my engine convertion. It was a 1.2spi and it now has a C16XE. But i have a number of problems which i will post up when i get home (with photographs to go with it).

Main problems off the top of my head.

There is a sensor on the exhaust manifold which is dangerous close to the radiator, will i have to move the radiator forward?

I have a small fuel leak around the fuel rail area. Need help on getting a part number.

Has anyone else had major headaches with this convertion or was it just mine?

    J

ive done this conversion in mine from a 1.2 spi the lambda sensor just goes in to the manifold on the c16xe, i used the corsa down pipe to and just cut and welded the nova system to it, your radiator stays were it is altho its rather tight for your electric fan, also u need a Gsi petrol tank with external pump, im runnin a one from a calibra 2.0 8v, u can use your standard 1.2 shafts, and it all bolts up onto the standard engine mounts,

if u can get pics up of the fuel leak i might be able to help you
