digi dash question?

I have a digi dash in my nova but when i put the ingnition the red lights dont come on along the bottom of the dash. Are they meant to? I have seen pics of them with lights showing along the bottom. What could be the problem?

Missing bulbs?

bulbs should be there! Were complete before i took the engine out! I will make sure all the wires are in tommorow. Is there any other things it could be? What lights should come up??? Indicator lights and headlight light shows when you turn them on????
