Really like the thinking behind your nova, looks like a really good rebuild,
what engine is that btw? C16XE? what inlet will you be running? turbo? ITB?
Keep up the good work
Ash
Nice too see you have been bitten by the nova bug again! Sounds like some good plans can?t wait to see it done, is the engine going to be N/A or turbo?
Engine is N/A for now but hoping to have it forced induction after the winter perhaps. Just need to get it on the road & drive it tbh. Hasnt spun a wheel since Dec 03 IIRC.
Hi Craig,
Looking good
I'll take you out in my car when shes back and that will be enough for you to change your mind.... trust me.. im a doctor (well almost )
Cheers Adz. Any rides in a sweeet Nova duly appreciated. No need to convert me... I just do my own thing.
Only dead fish follow the stream.
Have spent the morning cleaning up the power steering rack & putting a coat of primer on the gearbox prior to the top coat of anthracite gloss.
Ordered new exhaust mating/sprung bolts yesterday, new fuel hoses & rear beam bushes.
One side of the rear turreting is finished (structurally)
Undersealed.
Looking forward to the otherside being completed & moving onto the r/disc conversion. Drums just dont feature on performance cars IMO.
Nowt wrong with drums
Loving the car craig, will definately keep an eye on the progress
