    I was having an idea the over day, got a 1992 1.4 sr, an was wondering what other carbs fit on it, with/without manifold change? of astras or other? help would be most appricietive.............

    Get a 1300 inlet,adaptor plate, weber 32/34, and a 1300 head.
    Should drive much nicer.

    you could always try to find a varijet carb off mk1 astra with manifold, the over choke size is much greater than that of the weber, and the choke mechanism is manual like the weber....

    Yeah, hut he said he hasnt got a load of cash. Mk1 astra manifolds are pretty hard to get hold of. Also the varijet was replaced by a single 36mm dellorto or weber.
