Do you have a timescale in mind for it? I guess it won't be quite as involved as the last build?
Billing 2016 is the deadline, but i'd like to have it done by the end of the year if I can. Looking into management and loom so need time to get it mapped and some miles put in before the big drive.

Plastic splash guards for inner wings? Yes, they exist, from Lokari
    http://www.lokari.de/epages/62716287...tellung%2FOpel
They were even standard on MK2s in north countries like Sweden (as also headlamp washers)

Wow, big job ahead! Was actually wondering about the durability of a dipped shell. Keith, do you think the quality of dipping and the subsequent electrophoretic coating lives up to your expectations, or would you do things differently should you do a similar type restoration/build?
One day I'll start a build thread. One day...

I would never do it again, my perception vs reality was way out. I feel I wouldn't be doing this now if I'd just painted the shell instead as it was absolutely brand new when I first started and has been dry stored in a heated garage/carcoon since.

Have you have paint issues like Edd?
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
