BRAKING POWER NEEDED!!!

I have a 1.3 sr and the brakes are....well there not if you get what I mean so can someone tell me what is the best thing to do to get the best stopping power weather it be getting a Astra GTE brake system or just some bigger black diamond discs and EBC greenstuff pads. Help Please

the calipers are the week point, replace them with astra 16v (ate) calipers, you'll find a guide on www.topbuzz.co.uk but you will require 15" wheels

nope!
you need wheels that are 5.5j width (i think) cos i had the brakes under 14" alloys.
oh and they dont fit under 3 bar wheels.
and yes definitely get 16v calipers, dont bother with gte stuff, go straight to 16v calipers then maybe upgrade the servo to gte/gsi spec.

Yes fit cav,astra, or calibra 2.0 16v brakes, the discs are 256mm dia and 24mm wide. The calipers should have ATE stamped on them, and they bolt straight on under most 14" wheels (not the GTE 3 spokes).

they fit under gte 3 spokes with 3mm spacers

Ste is close, they fit under 3-bars with a 3mm spacer if ur handy with a grinder!!!
