    Default anyone know ?>>>

I have 15 inch TSW Alpines on my nova, but there the wrong offset, I know which offset I need but I can't afford to buy more wheels so Im stuck wiv these, ive lowered it 60mm and the backs are fine, Ive got no probs with them.
My question is with the fronts, the wheels stick out the sides of the arches a bit too much (i.e there too wide.
Is it possible to skim a few mm off of the inner wall of the alloy, where the holes are for the wheel nuts ??
If it can be done then the wheel will sit closer to the car and not stick out so much.
    Can this be done ?
    Will it work ?
If so then where can I get it done ?????

Sounds like you have the same offset wheels as me. Mine are 15's and I've had a 2" drop at the front. Personnaly I think the car looks quite beefy with the wheels stuck out slightly. Not sure about removing a few mm from the inside. I think it can be done. Try bodyshops or wheel spcialists for advice. Good Luck, Jim

Iv'e heard of wheels bieng machined to alter the offset, you will need it doing by a local machine shop. Why do you need to alter it if they don't catch? Does it cause a lot of torque steer at under hard acceleration?

You could be looking at bending the arches out rather than doing stuff to the wheels by putting a small jack between the arch and the tyre and jacking it out, I herd this has been done somewhere.

It does sound a bit dodgy, try evey thing else 1st, just in case it buggers your wings up.

don't machine the wheels yet m8 , first u have 2 look at the wheels on the car and measure the diffrence between the alloy and brake caliper and if possible the front strut..... if u mill a bit off the wheels may collide with them...but if thats ok...go ahead m8
