my mind is boggled and i need your help !
cutting a long story short, i need a new engine, what do i do ? :
- get another 1.3 (sr)and plonk it straght in ?
- get a 1.3, bore it to 1.4 and get PMC pistons for ?220?
- find a 1.4 and put that straight in? if i can find one that is.
and also taking into account that i have shit all cash.
also - does anyone know of any good breakers in the berks area?, all i ever find are shite 1.2s full of rain water!

u could try the one u can see from the M4 I think it is in west drayton

u will get a decent 1.4 lump for les than 220 if u look more, they also came in astras and mk3 cavaliaers (these are rare though) its the same lump and by swapping to a real 1.4 u will get the improved dizzy, coil, and little black coil pack thing under the coil, the chances are the 1.4 lump will have less miles than a 1.3 coz there newer and becuase the 1.4`s have more torque the dont tend to be thrashed as much (this exludes sr engines as they have all been hamerd at sumtime by sum young wippersnapper

U can get a 1.3 delivered for like ?80-90. I wouls stick with 1 of these. 1.4's r a ripoff for the difference!!

alright m8, if your goin for an engine con. dont go for anything less than a 1.6
