    Default head unit fitting problems

    hi, i no-longer own a nova or any vauxhall and i know this isnt the right forum, but as i am a member here and i know how usefull you ghuys are maybe someone could help me?

    i own a mk3 fiesta diesel.

    i bought the connector block from halfords and it had 2 plugs, the car end, 1 for speakers with is not a prob.

    its the power plug that is. it has a red. black, blue, yellow and orange.

    but on my car, on the poweerr side of things is a thick and thin brown, a yellow, a red and a grey and yellow, wtf help me please

    red to red, yellow to yellow, thick brown should be earth, don't know about the others.

    the wires ahve been cut?

    from what i remember the above sounds right, use a bulb to test the wires

    for some reason the brown wire is sticking in my mind as a wire that causes problems but that may be on another car
