white gunk on oil cap??
i have a white gunk on the inside of my oil cap, but the head gasket was proffesionally done 2000 miles ago! im sure it hasnt gone again! what could this be? (it may hav been there since last time and i havent noticed it)
please help cos im ****tin meself bout it!!!

It may be just a result of condensation in the rocker box caused by using the engine only for short trips, clean it off and give it a good run for about an hour, if it has come back after that then there could be something wrong.
you know your ****!!! nice 1 pal, i do make short trip so it could be that, but more often than not, its on 4 a good while! it aint smokin or nufin like dat!

is the coolant temperature hotter than normal?
Probably just condensation as Mike said.
Need to take the car for a good run for it to clear.

its an 8v 1600 gsi, water isnt being used up, and the temp stays round bout a 1/4 on the guage
