    How many mk2 cavs do you see about, not many, so i assumed he meant Mk3.

    Ye, mk2 1.6 cavs were big block as thats what CV you use for a big block conversion.

    i meant mk3, the 2 (in the code) reads as: c16nz2 for family 2. iirc the carb 16 is a small block, basically a gte motor with a carb and hei (high energy ignition) system, instead of injection, hope this helps,
