i just like a nice raspy sound and a decent looking subtle backbox which says "im powerful on the sly"

Chances are your first car won't be powerful though

If you want loud get a universal back box and ask poweflow to put it on. But it sounds really horrible i loved myn at (4 inch jap back box) first but soon got bored of the over the top noise. I now have a sportex full system sounds really sporty and still quite loud but not to loud. It looks cool to

if you want a cheap loud option, go for a peco or a cherry bomb back box

ive got a universal rage thing i bought it off a mate as i liked the sound now it just annoying id rather have a full nice sounding system but if you ant loud get a rage exhaust because it is really loud

A universal can type thing would probably be the loudest.

I agree the loudest dont always sound good or get respect. Plenty of ppl will be cursing at you under their breath.

I got a Sportex 3" round backbox on a 1.2 Its loud around 3k rpm when you put your foot down but when cruising its reasonably quiet with a bit of rumble. Personally I like it coz its compromise between the two and it was dirt cheap.
