Thread: not sure what car my inlet manifold is off

    Default inlet

    looking at my inlet its simalr 2to 1.3 but the shape of the metal around the port is different mine is kinda flat an the 1.3 has pointed but the holes 4 the studs look 2 be in right place mine has 2 unions 1 at each end 1 kinda in middle other to the underneath of manifold on an angle does this sound right for 1.3 .will some 1 let me email the pics so they can b put on here?

    It probably is a old ford inlet then, which is why it dont look like any of the 3 vauxhall ones above.

    To be honest, it looks like a 1300sr T40 manifold to me, here's your pics

    almost 100% sure, mine had the water inlet on one side and the brake servo outlet on the other. Allthough this manifold will not do for the 1400 sr head, but you could change your head to a 1300 so it would fit, plus you would gain a few ponies as the 1300 being a better flowed head. Cheers

    what do i need to make the nova water pipe fit on the union ?

    the water hose union is threaded will it be alright to put the hose on with a jublee clip an tighten it on to the thread as i cant get a pipe with the threaded conector on
