SR front bumper

Can someone please tell me the difference between a GSI front bumper and a late type SR front bumper.

U C the thing is Ive seen the abyss front bumper and its just a smoothed GSI bumper with a big mesh grill, can I make the SR bumper look like this as my mate has a brand new one up for grabs at 40 quid

The main difference is that the Gsi front bumper has a lower lip, making it lower to the ground than the SR bumper. I'm not sure how the SR bumper would look without the lower lip when trying to convert it to an abyss lookalike. Maybe try adding a Seat Ibiza splitter on the bottom, but try and have it flush with the front of the bumper and not set back. Hope this all makes sense,
