does the size of the sub boxes matter as the two in the back of the sports car looked abit too compact? i have two 13" focals, how bigger fibreglass box would i be looking to build in the back with me having no seats?

I think the fibreglass bit is just so you can make then fit snug over your arches - they can stick out as far as you want...

if you mean the fibreglass matting itself check ebay or the website I mentioned in the 1st post.

You can also get it from halfords in small but expensive amounts...

The actual material again ebay - its just bass speaker material -

or enter "ice install carpet" for a search on ebay

I cant get into the site but if resin was p[ainted over it its fibreglass matting -
you put resin down, then lay the matting on top and then stipple more resin in. The matting desolves into the resin to give a redig tough finish.

ebay - type in fibreglass matting - any matting will do 450g is good quality...for the resin type in liquid resin or fibreglass resin or use the cfs website

can you staple fibre glass matting into place................i dont fink so.
Its a stretchy material thats put onto the frame or sub box ect. then pulled into shape then stapled on, then painted with fibre glass resin.

Ineed to know what its called and where i get it from..

    thanks

    - you sarky git!

Wot you described sounded like fibreglass matting however NOW I can get into the site I can see what you mean - it's just cotton cloth - nowt special - anything that will support resin - just dont soak it or it will sag. Cloth needs to be sturdy like heavy cotton (not like canvas or jean materiall) - try curtain lining. But not your mum's best drapes though!
