keep your eyes peeled for 'XL Series' ice in the new year. iv just got back from the factory after buying a test sale on ebay (active 250watts rms sub, box + wiring for ?56!!! new). they do some tidy looking subs manufactured in the same factory as JBL just with a different badge, active sub boxes, wiring kits, stealth shelves, door pods etc.. top quality stuff at a budget price. if you do a search for them not much will come up as their web site needs updating which may happen in the new year!

I've used XL, they really aint worth it. they sound ok but frequency range, as with JBL, is rubbish. quality they aint!

i did say budget, its rather obvious it aint gonna have a wide frequency range for the price. for the price i cant see how it isnt worth it!

you'd be surprised. shop aroung and you can get sony or pioneer for very little more

Although to be fair they're running off a good amp .
