How old are you? You'll be lucky to get insured for "cheap" on a 2.0L under 18ish years old, and even then, if you do, most companies will say "We dont do engine conversions". If you keep the car standard(ish) then try LV, i get quotes around ?1100 for a 1.2 carb, that will go down to about ?900 in a few weeks. 18th birthday :D
My astra is around ?1300, its gonna be getting change for summit like an SR or SRI after xmas 8)
