Its a good looking install, but its in-efficient....

you would get a much better sound if you were to re-position your subs to face either into or out of the car as then the sound pressure would be travelling the length of your car instead of colliding in the middle and travelling out of either side...

each to their own though, as i said, its a good looking install

That's not exactly true, as each colide they resonate each other amplifying the noise. The force from the sub also creates a denser surrounding for the opposite sub allowing for a crisper bass.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Other than that, the shelf is ALL wrong, bin it and start again.
NEVER NEVER NEVER make a shelf out of the standard crap. It just wobbles and so will ur soundz.
Get a good strong shelf, ur tunes will be much better for it.
Looking good though, keep it up.

Why have a hole in the back so you can see your amp???

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't it say to ppl walking past......
.....look i'm expensive......steal me...... steal me!!!

And plus the fact if ppl see you have an amp they're gona know there's a sub in there too.

Alright for shows but not for the streets.

:D Looks good m8, at the end of the day its YOUR car, if you like it then scr*w what anyone else thinks.

The stealth boxes do look good, did you make them yourself? if so the dimensions would be good, I'm looking for a way to get a couple more 8" subs in the boot, this would do nicely.

I'm making custom door pods and was going to post the piccies and instructions on how I did it in case anyone else wants to try, hoping to finish it by the weekend.

i agree sound waves traveling towards each other with collide and to some extent cancel each other out rather than amplifying the sound - simple physics. however as the install has been built as a space saver theres not much u can do so good effort. i think a false floor would be cheeky to cover the amp with a little window in it!
