    Default Headunit fitting

    Alrite lads,

    whats the best way to fit a headunit? Use a connection direct from the battery using an in line fuse or ???????

    Whats the alternatives? Hazard lights?

    do have the original vaux plug on ur loom where ur old hu came from???

    if so get an iso connector from halfords for about ?15 tell them wot make ur hu is and u just this iso lead into the bk of ur hu and into the vaux plug on ur loom

    Nah mate,

    Gona have to do all the wiring from scratch, got some pictures on my comp of what it looks like atm but don't know how to upload them. Got a hole where my hu should've been and no wiring ready to simply hook it up.

    To upload pictures you have to first upload them to a web host,
    www.photobucket.com
    Open an account there and then upload yur pictures.
    Then put a new post on here and click the IMG button, paste in the web link of your image, then click IMG again.
    You should have [IMG]http//www.photobucket.com/your picture.jpg[IMG/]
    summit like that.
    Then it should load when you post the message.

    As for you head unit i think you may have to buy an ISO connector and wire up each wire into the correct place on the ISO connector,using a Haynes manual to locate what each wire does. Then once all the wires are connected you can just plug in the connector and it should work, if its all been wired right.
