kenwood kdc c717 cartridge wont eject!

got it the other day (2nd hand) put it in, works fine, loveing my 10 cds!
put a load of new ones in today, driving to work, disc2 ends, changing to disc 3, then er99 message on headunit, i try sklipping disc, but no luck.

pissed off as the next cd was dr dre the chronicles, so i pull over, open the boot, try to eject the cartridge, its stuck, i can see it trying to put the cd back in but its miss fired or sumthing, and wont come out, i try giving it gentle persausion/tap/poke but nuthing!

when i get home i was gonna open the unit up.

but has any had this problem/ know of a solution, is it a common fault or was it me not putting the disc into the cartridge properly?

Hmm yeah, smash it up - cos that'll work................


Most CD changers have a multiple switch setting on them that tells the changer if it's sitting upright, on it's side or inbetween, make sure that switch is set to however you've got it mounted as this can cause all sorts of problems with discs skipping and getting stuck.
