    Default ice install

right, i have started my install today. so i am going to walk you through how i have done it. this way, you can all follow suit when trying to do this.

    equipment for the job?

as you can see, there are 2 amps, distribution box for power.
silver cable is for the remote switch.
the flat cable is for the seakers from the amps.
green cable is for the earth to the cars shell.
2 sets of rca leads for the amps.
and the head unit with 3 pre-outs.

now the next 2 pictures are as far as i have got today.
power lead is down the right hand side of the car.
the rca cables down the left hand side.
and the remote cable from the hu, down the center.
(reason for this, is so the power doesn't interfere with the sound traveling to the amps)

at the front end of the car. there is a inline fuse switch. this needs to be as close to the battery. (this is for the purpose of saving your car in the event of a fire.)
now when the install goes further, there will be a second fuse box in the boot, this is to make sure each amp only recieves the correct ampage to it.

delay in the ice install is due to wanting the right single sub and funds.
plus i am thinking of doing a false floor and rear cage.

any way, heres a bosch 70 amp alternator bought today to go with my 65 amp heavy duty battery. so no diming lights for me.
