!HELP!

i've just taken the door trims off my nova but know im left with this annoying black shit down the side of my car i've tryed scraping it off with a plastic scraper so i dont danage the paint work but it aint budgin i tryed a metal scraper and it took the pait off is there any thin i can use to get the stuff off ur help will be much appriciated

yep!!!
autoglym tar and glue remover, u can get it from halfords too

^^^^^^ thats the stuff it rules! it also gets the glue off when u pull the black strip off the gutters on the roof.
