    Default Lose Bonnet cable..

    My bonnet cable is sooo lose, the lever wont open the bonnet at all, have to remove grill everytime!
    Anyone know how i tighten it or get the handel/lever off inside of the car?

    haynes, i would try explain in words but it wud be painful, its VERY EASY to adjust, read the haynes it tells you how!

    do you have to adjust the whirly firly thingy at the front of the bonnet that holds the bonnet in the clampy thingy?

    no that just does the spring, sounds like the cabel has become slack and just needs tightening

    hrm i need to do this as well but if i remember correctly there is no adjustment in the cable?

    it just has a loop at the bonnet end??

    Default bonnet cable

    It is adjustable, there is a screw holding a cable on the back of the slam panel and the cable then dissapears into the panel, loosen screw, pull outer (the bit screwed down) back towards left until it's tight again, do screw up and try it.

    Same theory as the cables on your pedal bike.

    Failing that get a new one!
