a usaul 4 way amp is around a 600 watt area so a 2 channel bridged will be around 2x 300 watt. so the bottom line is really. i hope you have a decent set of 6x9's to take the power. otherwise exspect alot of distortion and finally they will pop!
they wont be as bad if the gain is turned right downOriginally Posted by srs1
simpleist thing is to just wait and ont fu*k your speakers up
but its your choice
most 4 channel amps av a switch on them to only run 2 channels out of da 4, even if u cant do that just use the 2 channel with a (FULL PASS) setting. it wont do any damage not 2 use the otha 2 channels anyway
Am i right in thinking that you could just use a four channel amp to power 2 6x9's, and the other two channels to bridge a sub.

u can do that as long as 1 of da channels has got a (LOW PASS) setting, u also need to have a hu wid at least 2 preout other wise u wont b able 2 use da fader on da hu
