    Default spraying bumper

    how can i spray my front and back bumpers,they r both plastic would i need 2 clean them of dirt,oil etc then use a plastic primer then once thats set, spray it in my cars colour?is there more to this?cheers

    That'll work, the paint might chip off and flake in time though.

    I think when mine were sprayed last month the bodyshop mixed some 'plasticiser' in with the paint so the paint was a bit more flexable so stop it chipping / cracking / flaking.

    You could probably get them sprayed quite cheaply if you don't want any special kind of colour (And if they're spraying a car in that colour it'll be easy for them as they'll have the paint in the gun) and also if you hunt around the smaller bodyshops in your area.

    i phoned a place that specialises in accident damage and replaceing/respraying panels and bumpers and got quoted about ?100 per bumper.
    Sorry to butt in but i was also interested about doing this.
    I can get hold of a spray gun to do mine, so any ideas wot you would be lookin at to do it yourself.

    Be paitient and dont rush the job other wise it will look worse than in the first place, It depends on the bumpers and colour, if you have a kingdom one i would recomend letting a specialist do it.
