Default Uprated fastenings for the LET

    Howdy all,

Just a couple questions regarding fastenings on the LET.

I've already got a new set of Vauxhall flywheel bolts but I was wondering if there is any need to get ARP items? What sort of power can standard bolts handle?

Same question goes for Vauxhall head bolts. Is there a peak power they can handle or do people change them for ARP Head bolts / stud & nut for the fact they can be re-used?

It goes without saying that I'll be using ARP rod bolts when I buy the forged rods.

My current aim is 300bhp but the internals will be capable of further power if I decide to go more in the future, without the need to strip it down again.

Any useful info will be appreciated.

Thanks for the info - are the ARP head bolts any good when comparing to the ARP stud & nut option?
