Default Painting sr / gte rear spoiler

Recently bought a sr spoiler which had been painted before but was all pealing off. I want to re paint the spoiler. But as it’s a rubber kind of texture what’s the best way of painting it? Has anyone painted there’s?

I rubbed it down with 800 wet and dry sandpaper followed by plastic primer as the spoiler flexes a lot. Then top coat of your choice.
