    Default GTE restoration Chassis dilemma

    Can anyone advise please

Restoring a corroded Gte and found the worst area to be the driver side rear chassis leg/rail and arch

The cup that the rear spring sits on has holes in it and the inner arch is a mess.

Can that cup be repaired as other than that bit i think the leg can be rescued.

Inner arch is going to need complete replacement can these still be purchased?

    Thanks in advance! Pep

new inner areches are still available for about 40 a side - front turrets sometimes appear, but they'll be around 600

Thanks for the help. Found front chassis legs but the only rear i can find is passenger. I've had a good look at the car tonight (spent most the evening getting the car ready for engine removal) and ive gotta be honest getting a bit down over it.

I think i have described the arch incorrectly ive looked into it and i think what it needs is the full tub.

Considering taking it to a professional company and leaving it with them.
Money is no object i have to rescue this Gte if it kills me! 😂

Sounds like a good time to tub the rear arches and fabric some new rear chassis legs.

Got pictures however im not tech savvy! Missus had to set up account on here 😂
She has joined PNG facebook site as i havent got facebook would it be ok if uploaded them onto there? I'll post in here when i've done it.
Failing that i'll look into that program that allows you to post into forums.

And yes i reckon both tubs and rear chassis leg maybe just driver leg actually passenger doesn't seem too bad...

Once again thanks for any advice it is greatly appreciated.
