Default Wiring in corsa b speedo transducer

Is it possible to use an electronic speedo transducer from a corsa b in an f20 gearbox as a speed sensor with stand alone . And if so does anyone know what wire does what on the transducer . Cheers

I'm attempting to do this right now. Transducer is live, sensor and earth. I plan to connect my 5v up to black and blue/red back into the dials.

Just make a note of how many pulses it is to configure the dash with.

This link implies you need to add a resistor but I'm going to try without first - http://www.race-technology.com/forum...pic.php?t=1697

I have now come to realise for me this will only work for boost by gear . But will not work for traction control so i am back on with figuring out one rear sensor off the drum and 2 front sensors using abs sensors and abs ring i just need someone bright enough to make me a dual vr conditioner
That will go between the front sensors and the ms3 to make a wave signal that the ecu can read .

The vr conditioner boards and components kit are only about £15 but depends what ecu you have

Can you get something off the edge of the drum? Maybe araldite a magnet there and set a sensor up to read it shouldn't be too tough to do.

One advantage of rear disc conversion is you can use the ABS rear wheel bearings. It's a pain to get the wires to it but I'm told it's doable

I remember my Corsa C rear discs having sufficiently long enough wires I thought it was a good idea to cut them off flush. Would be a nice solution.

I have pics in my WIP of fitting an ABS sensor and the "orange box of tricks" to convert it into a usable signal too.

Laser cut bracket sounds good, any pics? Something you'd sell?
