Striped a F20 box down today ready to get aqua blasted so it can be used as a spare casing.
Also my other F20 Quaife box with a setup for a AP Racing paddle clutch ready to go down to Protec motorsport for new bearings throughout & a strip down.

Finally got the Shell around to my lockup, starting to strip everything off ready for the cage and fabrication work at start of March. Surprised at how clean this shell is, only done 2 gravel events since it was turned into a rally car from a 30,000 mile road car!

Another afternoon striping the car down. Solid chassis legs on both sides! Just a little patch to put on the rear panel above the towing eye.

Took the shell up to Scott Mcminn Motorsport at Cumnock, Scotland on Sunday morning. Getting the Hockly cage put in and a few fabrication jobs. Should be ready to collect next week.

Also the 1400 engine got put on the Dyno last week at Falconers and just waiting for the phone call to go pick it up.

Welding looks really good, shell will be nice and stiff.

Yes nice solid shell has saved a lot of time and money.

Picking the engine up which is ready to go from Falconers then mock the engine bay up before it gets blasted. Probably bead blasted hopefully as it’s less aggressive. Then for paint & start the build. Also the painful part of emptying the bank account for all the parts!
