Made a start on the Brake lines today. Quite a fiddly job but I enjoyed doing it, just need to order some more hose for the engine bay. Fuel hose is all connected up now, just need to piece it in when the engine is dropped in.

It looks great, I am interested how will you ensure the hoses won't touch the tyre with the suspension movement and cornering ?

Cheers it’s coming on well now. I will be cable tieing them to the bottom of the strut to keep them away from the tyres. The hose I’ve got has a PVC outer liner so I’m not too worried about it rubbing against the strut etc. It’s just going to have to be checked every so often to see if it does mark the hose. Have looked at the idea of spiral wrapping the brake hose that are outside of the car just for added protection. But at the minute it will be seeing how it goes with attaching it to the strut

Cable tie to the strut and rubber hose where it touches the spring cup.

That whole lot all rotates together doesn't it so I can't see it being an issue.

    Love the look of this!!

Yeah I thought about just cutting a slit in some rubber hose and putting it over, doesn’t have to be anything special with it being a rally car. Cheers bud

Got the rear Perspex windows & boot Perspex window in today which is another good job done off the list, went in a lot better than I thought. Will get some pics tomorrow

Photos of the Perspex in and mocking up the rear bumper, just waiting on some countersunk washers for mounting the sides of the bumper to the car instead of the bumper clips

AP master cylinders arrived today, so got them fitted & finished off the brake lines. Used OBP reservoirs from the cylinders that came from Hockly with the pedal box, with both caps on there is about 1mm gap so quite a good fit and means I don’t have to go buy some AP ones!
