Hi all, for some reason my post doesnt appear to have been showing up,

basically ive fitted a c14se engine to my mk2 astra, the engine is turning over, there is a spark, but it wont start, im wondering could i have the fuel lines wrong way round, can someone advise which is the inlet and which is the return on the fuel rail in the picture below? any help greatly appreciated

The return is normally the pipe nearest the regulator

thank you, the fuel lines are correct so, ive not connected up radiator hoses etc yet, would no water in the engine affect it starting?

theres fuel going from the tank to the fuel rail, is there a way of checking injectors without removing them?

Your best bet is wiring the ecu light up and check for codes

cant seem to get the eml light flashing, discovered one of the injectors was knackered so changed that and she fired up

it not incline to run nice however, sort of bogging down

i noticed it actually is running better with the map sensor disconnected, so changed the hoses incase there was any cracks but no better, does it look likely the sensor itself the problem?

It may well be the sensor in that case
