Buy new bushings and swap out the plastic rod for a metal adjustable one, all the bits are on ebay. Or build a rose jointed one but it'll be expensive. Last option is to convert it to cable shift

When I was looking I couldn't find the bushes for sale, there are similar ones available but the bushes are bigger then the Nova ones, I know this as I bought a few kits hoping I would get lucky.

My gearchange was the same when I bought my car. I just swapped for a short shift which sorted it out and when I got the old one off it was bent anyway.
Maybe yours would benefit from just being adjusted up?

    here:
    https://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2020

heres another thats about the same price when you take into account postage and vat:
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-...4AAOSwjqVZD0ak

or another one here with the complete kit for f10-f13 box (others are on ebay):

Like I said before it might just want adjusting. A short shift will make the changes feel nicer but if your gearstick isnt totally centred or something between the gearstick and the box is loose that can make the shift feel baggy. Mine was so far out on the test drive after having the gearbox off to replace the speedo gear that I only had 4 gears and 1st and reverse were just about in the same place.

    Couple of options

Linkage nylon centre pivot bushes, LMF used to sell them, ~£10-15
Rose joint the whole thing to replace the ball/socket joints, ~£50 (I wouldn't call this expensive for the improvement it makes)
Internal shifter from a Cav - can get better ones with a nylon ball using no rubber at all, £10-20 scrapyard parts
Cable shift (Vectra set up) ~£20-30 for scrapyard parts up to a few hundred for custom length/spec cables
Quaife direct to turret set up, removes all linkage and original Vauxhall parts £400-800
