    Default Heater matrix pipes

Afternoon need a bit of help with the coolant hoses for the heater matrix, I'm sure I know where one of the hose goes, like in the pic below

I think originally the other side of the matrix would connect to the inlet manifold?? But I'm not sure.
As I'm running throttle bodies this can longer be done this way, so how should I go about connecting it up?
    Cheers Nick
Ps, engine is x18xe1 small block 16v

Would have gone to inlet yes, is the port in the head/inlet blocked? They normally have a take off for the matrix still. If not then do they have a pope at the rear of the head like an xe? They use that then into the plastic water rail on the other side

That's what the inlet side looks like, I think the lower hole is a waterway and the top is egr valve related as it's all sooted up, I'm not really sure how to get around this, I might be able to tap the inlet manifold

I'd look into tapping the manifold, thw waterway being blocked won't do the head any favours

Yeah I'm going to tap the manifold, more work but seems like the best thing to do.
