    Talking Twin 40s alternator bracket

Help needed please,I’m fitting 40s to my C16SE and have purchased the lowering bracket for alternator,I know I will need a different belt but I have 2 problems.
1.The blades on alternator just catch bracket.
2.I can’t see how even with a longer belt it won’t foul the retaining nut that holds alternator to bracket.
    Any help would be appreciated

I keep reading a longer belt is required but mine would work with a shorter one,it’s regularly commented needing a 850mm belt, mine is 930 so makes no sense,an 800 would fit perfectly so does anyone have experience with this please

On the 1300 I think it's a 850 belt. I guess the 1600 block is taller so an thinking it should be longer than 850?

There are many alternators on the market. Do you have the right one?
