    Default Different Rev counter

I've taken out a set of late mk1 rev counter clocks (6 real dials, white needles, large white numbers on dials) and fitted a set of earlier mk1 4 dial clocks (orange needles, no oil or battery dials) and now I'm sure the rev counter on the new clocks is over reading. I can rev it off the clock without it sounding like the car is over revving and it certainly seems to indicate higher revs than the clocks I removed.

Anyone had this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Not that i know of, they aren't very accurate when they work correctly but iva had a lot of orange needle ones that rev like crazy. If you really want you could swap the mech from the other set to your new old set

I thought about doing that, that might be the way to go with it.
