    Default Wire eml

Had issues with the eml coming on and idling issues on way home from vboa. Eml comes on in car but no plug to do paperclip test found wire from loom brown /blue that runs to the clock so i tapped into it and ran a wire to the light switch on door trying to earth it hoping the bulb will flash. With no joy

Any ideas how to get the eml to flash?

Changed the idle control valve and no different also changed the air temp sensor and still no joy

    Thanks for any info

It'll be in the same area as all the wires you've spliced to get the engine running - where the plugs are/were in the kick panel.
