    Default MOT emissions failure

The sr failed it's MOT today on CO emissions. The bloke said the carb needs tuning as it's running far too rich. The carb is a weber 32/34.

Do any of these jets allow for the emissions to be dropped?

That's way too rich....nearly 9% on the CO is way too high. The hydrocarbons should come down under the 1200 limit if you get the mixture sorted. If you can find the mixture screw see how many turns it is from the zero setting.
just as a starter if it's 3 full turns put it at 1 full turn and see if the engine will start and run...if not go to 2 full turns, if ok then try 1 1/2 turns.
You really need a garage to give it a set up...obviously some of the jets may well be too big and may need reducing etc.

I’ve got the jetting info for the 1.3 and 1.4 if you need it. There is a screw on the side of the carb to adjust the mixture. Normally turn it in abit will help but must be jetted correctly first.
