That was my original plan, stick with oem suspension you think?

Keep everything you take off and if you do upgrade at least you can put back to standard to make money if you ever sell

Would just be the suspension, new standard shocks are cheap enough though

Looking forward to going a drive in it tomorrow, see if i can get my folks to drive it, both a bit apprehensive given its 22 years since they last drove a Nova Antibes

Bought an Antibes brochure off ebay few weeks back. Sado that i am

Took the nova to work today, was an exciting drive

Gets down the road quite well but once on the motorway things livened up a bit

Flat out at 80, fair enough, but the thermostat must be jammed open as it began to over cool and I had to pull the choke out to keep it going

I knew the back shocks were pumped but as i left the erskine bridge there is a few tight turns to go into Glasgow which got my heart going a bit

Carb needs adjusted too as idling too high

Wee jobs to get on with next time i get a chance

Got a wave from a dude in an R plate 106 Rallye. He was loving life as was I at that point

Mrs was off today which meant I wasn't solely responsible for our youngest, so with a few hours free before work started the interior deep clean

Chap from work was meant to do it last year but he cancelled and i never booked again.

Front seats and a bit of hoovering today. Still a long way to go til it is fresh inside

They are looking better the drier they get, but are 100% better than they were

I think you need to explain the last picture a little?

There could be people getting a little excited by it....

Great work on the seats btw they look fantastic.

Good point; that is looking into the base of the aquavac with the nozzle going in at the bottom

Cheers, will get into the rest tomorrow hopefully

Once they have been sat in again they should un-crinkle a bit

Rear seats out and washed, some carpet cleaned and an eternity of hoovering...

Still a long way to go inside and out. Stains on the heelpad could do with a stronger product on them.

Spotting on the door card looks to be something that has been splashed on it and damaged the vinyl. Hopefully not but is back after being wiped but will investigate further when i get a chance to spend some time on the nova again
