Default Lowering 60mm on standard style bilstein ?

I have just boughtsome brand new bilstein shockers and fitted 30/ 40mm lowering springs and it's super high. Just same as standard to be honest .
So I'm thinking of lowering 60mm now can I get away with using my new bilstein shockers and cut bump stops down a bit or do i need to get shortened shockers .
    Thanks
