I've always used genuine vauxhall transmission oil in my gearboxes but when I get the quaife fitted is there a diffrent oil I need to use? Or will I be ok to continue using the genuine stuff? Cheers x

Can run standard if just the ATB or Fuchs Titan if preferred.
Just did mine with smith & allen; frequent changes work wonders on anything give abuse, be it gearbox or engine. Dropped the gearbox sump off to clear collected synchro fragments, set the gaskets, left it for a week then filled with new oil & can tell it's better. A-Series engine & transmission share same oil so proves anything will do given right interval changes. A chap on youtube even ran an engine on cooking oil & after an hour then disassembly, there was no unusual wear!
IMO go with something a bit thicker as old parts last longer on it.

Any oil doesn’t need special LSD additive oil.
I hear people having good results with Vauxhall standard stuff. I personally use Millers 75/90 posh stuff to try and give it a little more help!
I'll probably just use the genuine vaux oil, I've litrally got barrels of the stuff
