Well it was a good day guys racing i came away with a 3rd which i was happy with as the last time i was at this venue 3 years ago i decided to hit a 1 tonne bail hard in my 106 so i was very cautious .i was actually running in 2nd but my friend in his saxo laid down a quicker time on the run i spun on so after that i played the safe game and took 3rd so very happy with that also lowering the front by an inch made a lovely difference to handling next stop castle hillclimb in july .there is a youtube vid on my profile on there if anyone wants to see it .

After july castle it was on to wiscombe national which was bloody wet and wooly but i managed a time of 45:26 in the wet and my fastest time in the dry is 45:23 so i think im starting to get the feel of the nova now needless to say i was very happy with my times

Sunday at castle was some good racing in our class after the first timed runs we were all in the 29s so it was down to the last run gordon in his tigra who ive been trying to battle with this season had done a time of 29.57 which to be honest i didnt think i could beat . I had been having altonator issues aswell not charging my battery so it would drop power and almost stall then be ok .we tested the alto and turned out it was the rectofier pretty crap as the alto was brand new and only had about 2 hours use . So i thought bugger it i borrowed a mates same size battery and rolled to the start as the power steering takes a hell of a draw from it so this was it 1 car to go infront of me i started her up got to the line and had a million things going through my head light went green that was in banzi run was on everything clicked into place and before i knew it i was and the top of the hill and i could breath again .i walked to the timing tape at the top and almost fell over i dont know how i did it but i got the class win with a time of 29.32 to say i was happy was an understatement my first class win super happy .
