Blower fan spindle bearings seize up, can be stripped and lubricated to bring it back to life, removal is an option for racecar I suppose.......

Universal heaters look a good option. £100-150 from the likes of Tweeks and CarBuilderSolutions. Driven by hot water through a matrix, integrated fan and switches. Usually standard size pipe outputs for ducting.

It's for a rally car I'm thinking of changing it so it will be more reliable I'm looking suggestions of were to put it and how to mount it like has anyone on here done this? Plus a heated windscreen is to expensive to smash if I have a slight accident
